Electronics and Physics Labs

 The electronic lab is equipped with all the latest technology and digital instruments. This lab serves for designing from simple logic systems up to a basic digital computer. Physics experiments are conducted in the same lab, and there is also a dark room facility.

Library

GCES has a well-managed library with many textbooks and reference materials available, including quite a number of rare technical books brought from the USA. To maintain up-to-date information in a wide range of disciplines, the library subscribes to various technical journals, daily and monthly newspapers. The state-of-the-art library includes a computerised library information system and an audio-visual facility which motivates students to excel in their academic and professional lives. An extensive collection of CDs is also available for borrowing.

Recreational

With the aim of all-round development of the students, GCES also provides some sports facilities. We have two table-tennis tables, and a basketball and badminton court are currently under construction. Special programmes for Nepali New Year and other special occasions also give the students a chance to perform using song,dance or poetry.

Academic awards

Two academic awards are given each year to each batch of students i.e. eight in total for a four-year course. These are based on the grade point average achieved during the first semester of the academic year, as well as the demonstrated outstanding potential of the students for professional practice.
