Gandaki College of Engineering and Science

The Gandaki College of Engineering and Science(GCES) is an established tertiary educational facility, located on the Gandaki Boarding School(GBS) campus in Lamachaur on the outskirts of Pokhara. Its administration is shared with Gandaki Boarding School, but it is affiliated with Pokhara University and complies with the Pokhara University semester system and examination procedures. GCES is proud to continue the same high international standard education for which GBS is famous.  Our focus is on both theory and practice, and preparing our students for the rapidly changing world of technology so that they can go on to make a contribution to the development of Nepal.

GCES is open to all students, regardless of position or background.  To facilitate those from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds, a number of scholarships are offerred to academically gifted students.  Admission is based on academic ability only, based on the information in the completed application form, and the results of an entrance examination testing knowledge of Mathematics, Physics and English.  Students from the 10+2 Biology stream may apply as well as those from the Science stream.  Applications are also welcomed from I.Sc./I.E. students.
